I thought that every one would like to know that the “Ornery Nameless Lady” has resurfaced in a different form. That's right, instead of being a “Nice-Man-Hating Ornery Nameless Lady” she has now come back in the form of a “Blog Bullying Ornery Nameless Lady.” Just read the comments on Shellie’s most recent post. As far as I know, this is a free country and we the people have the right to post or not to post. We shouldn't be subjected to the tyranny and oppression of being forced to post against our will. All of the “Patriots” out there reading this should rise up and help put a stop to this act of terrorism, that a member of our dear family is being subjected to. Will you not help and fight the evil that has been forced upon one of our own? Let us all vote this day to ban Blog Bullies from being allowed to view our blogs. Who’s with me?!

We're too Poor!
The other day Sydney dragged me to watch P.S. I Love You at the Cinema 8 here in Cedar City.

And while we were in line to buy some popcorn, I noticed there was a contest to win one of these.
A Yamaha Raptor, and since Sydney was bored, because she was waiting in line, I told her to go and enter that contest. Yes, I know it was not very smart, but I thought the hassle would be worth a Four-Wheeler like that.
So, a few weeks went by and I got a phone call from some guy saying I didn't win the four-wheeler, but I did win a air fair and a 2 night stay in San Diego or a 3 night stay in Las Vegas, and all I had to do was drive to St. George and listen to a 90 minute presentation on what World Mark by Wyndham was all about.
I thought, "Sure why not, I can put up with that and I might be able to use the hotel stay in Las Vegas for work." So last night Sydney and I drove to St. George for our 5 month anniversary and to listen to their little schpeel. Anyway the lady started to ask us what we did for work and I told her, "We are full time students." She was like, "but you do work right?" I said, "Part time, and Sydney doesn't even get taxable wages." Then she asked, "So about how much do you make in year?" I told her, "I think I made about 20,000 last year." She apologized and said, "They should have told you on the phone that you needed to make at least 40,000 a year to qualify for the prize, because we won't do our presentation to people who can't afford to buy our timeshares." "Oh well, they didn't tell me that on the phone." So she gave us a 10 dollar gas card for driving down and sent us on our way. So we went and talked to Mom, told her our story and while we were there I got another phone call from the Wyndham people telling me I had missed my appointment. I told her, "I went there and they told me I don't make enough money to win the prize." She said she was sorry and left me alone. So there you have it we are officially too poor to win a drawing. So if Shellie thinks I'm cheap I can tell I can't afford not to be. And that phone wasn't free with an upgrade by the way you turd. -Logan

Logan's Rafting Song
I've also wrote one for myself. I comes from a song by Brad Paisley, called "I'm gonna miss her."
But I love to raft
I spend all day in this apartment
And worried is all she gets
But today she went down to Dixie
Said she’s behind in school
It seems that she can’t go on this trip
She’ll be takin’ summer school when we shove off in June
We’ll I’m gonna miss her
Till I get home
Right now I’m on this river
And I’m floatn’ in the sun
I’m sure it will hit me
When I sweat in my tent at night
Yeah I’m gonna miss her
I’m, itchy there, mosquito bite
That if I hurry
I could leave a later day
But the rivers right
And the flow is perfect
No tellin’ what she’ll learn in class today
So I’m gonna miss her
Till I get home
Right now I’m on this river
And I’m floatn’ in the sun
I’m sure it will hit me
When I sweat in my tent at night
Yeah I’m gonna miss her
I’m, itchy there, mosquito bite

Sydney's Rafting Song
Syndey is a big fan of, famed country music singer, Garth Brooks.
She has told me on numerous occasions that the song "Rodeo" is her rafting song, so I wrote a rafting version just for her. Here it is it's called "Floatn' Boats"
His arms are cold and restless
His burns have almost healed
And she’d give half of Sevier
Just to change the way he feels
She knows his love’s in Utah
And she knows he’s gonna go
Well it ain’t no woman flesh and blood
It’s that damned old floatn’ boats
(Chorus)
Well it’s waves and bugs
It’s DEET and mud
It’s the roar of the rapid sound
It’s the white of his butt cheeks
The smell of the good eats
He’ll flip and Cash will drown
It’s pads and straps
It’s Hooters hats
It’s shorts and mosquitoes
It’s the oars and the frame
And the joy and the pain
And they call the thing floatn’ boats
She does her best to scold him
When his love comes to call
But his need for it controls him
And her butt can’t swim at all
And it’s so long babe I’ll see you
When it’s time for him to go
You know the woman wants her rafter
Like he wants his rowing boats
- Chorus -
It’ll drive his Sydney crazy
It’ll drive his mom insane
And he’ll pack up everything he needs
Just to put it all away
And a muddy raft and some muddy pants
Is all he’ll have to show
For all the days that he spent chasin’
This dream they call floatn’ boats
- Chorus -
It’s the rocks and the bugs
It’s the holes and the mud
And they call the thing floatn’ boats

The Ornery Nameless Lady
You must read Libby’s Blind Date Post first.
First of all he is a very nice man and a good sport for going on a blind date in the first place. Also we did show the ornery lady who shall remain nameless a few pictures and even some live footage so it really wasn’t blind for her. In fact she started to whine the moment after we set up the date, which, by the way, she insisted on doing. I (Logan) thought that it would be a one on one date from the time she asked for it, which would have fixed the little problem on not talking to one another. I don’t know any one who would talk to someone they don’t know when someone they do know is sitting across the table.
Just to defend myself (Sydney), she was in the backseat whining that she is shallow and I said that he may not be very attractive, but he is the nicest guy I know, other than Logan of course.
(Logan again) Also I’ve been set up on many blind dates in my time and as blind dates go this was a complete success, it was not awkward at all, and he did answer her few questions to him, like the one about who Peyton Manning is. In addition, there was no lull in the conversation, which I (Sydney) know is the worst part of blind dates.
(Logan again) It wasn’t really the right format for a good blind date anyway. For one thing we all rode in the same car together there was no picking up of the other person on either of the daters part. I went to the door and got him and I drove, so I was there the whole time. I didn’t like the whole way it panned out because it just wasn’t the right way to go about things. I think that another chance should be given on a single date, but I’m not sure I would want to put the nice guy through another date with the ornery nameless lady.
P.S. We will never set Libby up again.

Finally We Had Snow!
It's been about a year since we had a big snow storm here in Cedar City. I mean we've had a few skiffs here and there but nothing to write blog about. We were starting to feel left out from Salt Lake getting all the snow. The Friday before Christmas we got about 4" of snow. It still was nothing compared to last years 18" in one night, but it was still fun nonetheless. So we thought we would share so that those out there that read our blog would know we're not dead.

Our Wee Tree
We may be the Christmas slackers of the family, because it took us till yesterday to finish decorating our tree and it's small. But there were many circumstances that caused us to put it off till now. We needed to go to Elsinore for the tree and then we needed decorations which we got at Target in St. George because we still had wedding money from there. Here's the picture; enjoy.

Out with the old in with the new
Oh happy day! We went and picked up our couch last Saturday in the midst the cold stormy weather. We didn’t have any trouble except that Sydney didn’t like the way dad’s tarp smelled, I swear she was going to dry heave. Mom will be happy to know that we got rid of the futon, we gave to one of Sydney’s friends whose getting married in December. So here is a before and after picture, and one last tribute to our beloved futon.

The Coin-op Chronicles
On our Laundry day last Saturday, Sydney found these “Nappy Panties” and naturally Sydney accused me of cheating on her. “How did these get in our Laundry?!” she said, “They must have got mixed in with our clothes when you ripped them off her didn’t they LOGAN!” “First of all,” I said, “When have I not been with you, and second of all I wouldn’t have anything to do with some one who would continue to wear such nappy panties.” “Well I’ll let it slide this time because we have coin-op laundry and they could have been left in one of the washers,” Sydney consented, “But if I find one in our laundry when we have our own machines, you will really get it." - Posted by Logan -

Our Weekend Getaway
Logan and I had a blast this past weekend. We started out by skipping school, which is totally against Logan's beliefs, but we had so much fun! We left Cedar Thursday night and headed to SLC. We stopped and visited my Aunt and Uncle in Sandy before heading over to Lucas and Shellie's. We had only been there once and had a bit of trouble finding it in the dark. We ended up in some neighborhood way out on the west side of Salt Lake where there was not a house in sight! Finally he gave in and allowed me to call Shellie (something I had been trying to do for quite some time!). When we finally got there Shellie and I made those cute blocks that she has po
sted on her blog. The purpose of out getaway was my close friend and former neighbor's wedding in the Salt Lake Temple. It was the first time that Logan and I had ever been. It was a very chilly day and I ofcourse had forgotten a temple appropriate jacket (I only had a hoodie). It was a very nice ceremony and Julie looked absolutley fabulous. Her and her husband Lee seem very happy together and I am just thrilled for them.
We went to Park City with Anisa and Shellie later that day. Logan is such a sweetheart because he bought me new pants!!! I have been having issues for the past year or so because I lost some weight when moved to Cedar. I HAVE PANTS THAT FIT ME!!! Thanks Logan!
On Saturday we shopped around and we went to Ikea (is that how you spell it?). I thought that it was the coolest store I had ever been in! I could just look around in there for hours! Logan is totally taking me back sometime. They have so many fun things and accessories to look at. We also were looking for a couch. I cannot stand the futon anymore. We had a few minor disagreements on style and material. All of the couches which fit me and feel good to sit on are too low backed for Logan. He wants a giant leather sofa that tips my head funny when I sit on it. He told me we could get the couch I want if we project the TV onto the ceiling! He is such a "card" (that's for you Debbie!). We havent made any official decisions, but Shellie found one that we can both agree on, but I'm still not sure about the leather thing.
We stayed at my Mom's Saturday night and were able to visit with her. She loves it when we come and visit. Overall it was a marvelous weekend and we are getting a little spoiled with a three day weekend just two school days before Thanksgiving break!

Logan's Cannon
I just wanted you all to see what I made in machine shop this semester. It is a little brass display cannon but it doesn't shoot. Dangit! I took this class because it was being taught by one of the best (The best in my mind) Professors on Campus. Oh and I don't think that Sydney gave me the credit I deserved in her post. I invited her tons of times, but just recently she had a friend talk her into going. As of now she is going, and I am glad she is going.

Rafting
So I've decided that I want to go rafting. All I have to do now is convince Logan to let me go. I would also like it if he would teach me how to swim prior to going (I really dont want to drown!). Apparently me bugging him is not enough, (notice my name is not on the list of those who are going), and I am 90% sure I want to. So I am making this post to see if a little public humiliation will get to him and he will give in and let me go!

Logan Thoughts
Sydney and I have been debating lately if Kelly Pickler’s boobs are real. I think they are real and Sydney thinks they are fake. She says they are “Too perky.” I told her perkiness is a relative term, because there is perkiness free standing, and there is push-up perkiness. I think in terms of Kelly it is a case of push-up perkiness.
Some of you have heard me say in the past that I thought Brittney Spears’ boobs were too far apart, but now since Sydney says I am out of the pop culture loop I have to talk about the boobs in my own circle, which at the moment are the ones I see on CMT. Besides, Brittney is old news, and nobody wants to see her too wide of cleavage anyway.
Back on Kelly’s; I do however feel a little weird once again defending a pair of bosoms from Sydney.
At one time, before we were dating even, we got into an argument on just how flat chested Keira Knightley is. I thought, and I wasn’t the only one, that they were of decent size because of Pirates of the Caribbean Films. She told me that the corset did all the work, and she had nothing in Pride and Prejudice. Then I remembered that she was also in King Arthur in nothing but blue paint and a leather strap and she had some action going on. One of Sydney’s friends told me that if they put a strap on me I would have boobs too. I wondered about that for a minute and decided if a leather strap can magically hold up a man’s 50 lb gut it could make nothing into boobs.
Here it is now almost a year later and there are some innocent boobs that need protecting. My theory is that since she was an American Idol reject that she wouldn’t have gotten noticed if her boobs weren’t already in place. Also they are not overly big and if you argue that they are, maybe she is just a small girl and they look bigger due to the body to boob ratio. I’ll let you decide your own status.
Now some may say that I need to have children so that I won’t use my blog to post such nonsense, to them I say, “Why did you read it this long?”
