Lava Point

After I got off work at 1 on Saturday we took off on the last camping trip of the season. We went to the Kolob area of Zions National Park (where I had never been) and stayed over. It rained a lot, but we really had a lot of fun. There are some women who can go camping and look incredible doing it, this picture is proof that I am not one of these women. I've never been much of a camper, but I am starting to think that is because I never had anyone fun to go with. Logan is an excellent cook and makes everything an adventure and I really enjoyed myself, and probably gained 10 pounds from his dutch oven cooking!

My Interview

So my interview to get into the elementary education program was today. Logan was so sweet he got me a dozen roses to help ease my nerves. I really think that it went well. It was a group interview with about 8 other people and there were 3 interviewers. I was very nervous, but the way they did it made it less scary. I will know in a few weeks, and you will all be the first to know! Thanks for all the love and support!

It's official

I have now officially applied to the Dixie State College Education Program, my interview in on Tuesday. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Celebrity Sightings

While we were at the Olive Garden I think I saw an actor that served in my mission. His name is Corbin Allred.

This got us to thinking about all of the celebrities we have seen over the years. I have seen:

Kirby Heyborne at the ZCMI mall pushing a stroller.

Micheal Keaton at the Salt Lake airport when I got home from my mission.

Sydney has seen:

Larry King in the Dillard's in Provo.

Her mom was like, "Hey, it's that guy from CNN!" And Sydney was like, "ANDERSON!?!?! Where?" And her mom said, "No Larry King." And Sydney was upset that her mom had led her to believe it was someone important like Anderson Cooper.

Camera Saga Finale

After a month of Best Buy sending our camera around trying to see if they could fix it, they finally broke down and told us to come in and we will give a new camera to replace the old one. Best Buy appartently doesn't sell the camera I had anymore but they sell the upgrade for the price I paid for my old camera.

This is that camera they gave me. The only thing that I had to do was pay for an extended warranty plan, because getting a new camera fufills the other plan. So far it's the same thing only it's a 10 mega pixel instead of 7. It does have a bigger screen you can drop it from higher and there is some other cool stuff I don't know about. Plus we got it in this sweet black color.
