What is his name: Logan. The only one I know who is over the age of 12.
How long have you been married? Six months, 11 days.
How long did you date? It was five months to the day of our first kiss that we got engaged and seven months to the day when we got married.
Who eats more sweets? I eat more sweets, but Logan likes them more than I do, he just has willpower and I don’t.
Who said I love you first? Interesting question. I’m not really sure. He asked me if I loved him and I said I thought that I did. We never really said it ‘til a few days later.
Who is taller? Logan, by about six inches. Just perfect.
Who is smarter? Logan is the most brilliant person I have ever met. He can do just about anything.
Who does the laundry? I do. Logan helps a lot and sometimes he does it while I’m at school.
Who pays the bills? Logan does. I would probably forget.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? If you’re in the bed I do, if you’re looking at it, Logan does.
Who mows the lawn? I just hope we have one someday.
Who cooks dinner? We both do. Logan is way better at cooking though.
Who drives? I prefer to make Logan drive because to me that is sort of like holding a door open for me or something. It’s chivalrous.
Who is more stubborn? Unfortunately, I think this is a toss up. This makes things very interesting when we disagree.
Who kissed who first? Logan likes to pretend I kissed him, but he kissed me.
Who asked who out first? Well, another interesting story. The whole hanging out thing kind of blurs the lines of dating. I asked him to come over and hang out first, but he asked me on an actual date first.
Who proposed? Logan did. On the St. George Boulevard.
Who has more siblings? We have the same amount, only in reverse. He only has one sister, I only have one brother.

The Cake Saga
I am notoriously known for screwing up my surprises for Logan, but this one turned out perfect! I knew this because I had tasted the batter, which was yummy and the frosting was to die for. I was so incredibly proud of myself. It was not burned on the edges, and even more importantly, it was not gooey in the middle. So I wait anxiously for Logan to get home.
Logan got home and I was all excited about the cake (Oh when will I ever learn?!?!). He was like, “It’s a cake.” He was not impressed at all! I really don’t know why I still expect him to be happy, he never is happy when I surprise him. This, as usual, induced tears on my part at a later hour. But he did do better than last time by actually eating a piece of cake (there was a nasty little incident involving mint brownies a few months ago).
He acted alright about it. He tried to act like he liked it. Anyway, the purpose of this post is not to vilify Logan, because I actually decided to taste my masterpiece the next day, and it really isn’t that good, which makes me really mad because I spent so much time making it just right, and a few tears over him hating it, and the stupid cake was SO not worth it. I am hoping that by making this story public, I will be less likely to repeat it with another unwanted, and disappointing dessert.

Klint and Ellen Duet
As you all know, many moons ago Aunt Ellen ordered custom cabinets from Klint, at York’s Custom Cabinetry. She has yet to have them installed, because she feels that it will upset Roberta. Last Thanksgiving the kids all went to Las Vegas together and the popular song “Apologize” by Timbaland Feat. OneRepublic (You can find it on Libby's green playlist thing) came on the radio. Klint, the sweetheart that he is, started to sing along with the radio by saying, “It’s too late to call the guys.” I’ve written yet another song, this one depicting a conversation between Aunt Ellen and Klint concerning the cabinet situation. The parts spoken by Aunt Ellen are in red, and the parts spoken by Klint are in blue. Where they sing together it is in purple. Please enjoy, you may sing along if you like.
“Call the Guys”
[Verse 1]
I’m holdin’ off your help,
Cuz Grandma don’t like the sound.
And I know you’ve got your pay,
But you just can’t come around.
I told you that I want them,
And soon you can bring them down…
But wait…
I hope that I’m not sorry,
When you try and come around.
And say…
[Chorus]
It was too late to call the guys.
It’s too late…
You said it’s too late to call the guys
It’s too late
Yeah!
[Verse 2]
We’ll give another chance,
Take a break, come back just for you.
They’ll go in without missing a beat,
And they’re custom too.
You’ll love your finished kitchen
It will look brand new
And you say…
Sorry, but I think
That this year will be too soon
Then I’m afraid…
[Chorus]
It’ll be too late to call the guys
It’s too late…
I said it’s too late to call the guys
It’s too late
Whoa!
[Interlude]
[Chorus]
It’s too late to call the guys
It’s too late.
I said it’s too late to call the guys
It’s too late.
It’s too late to call the guys. YEAH!
I said it’s too late to call the guys. YEAH!
I’m holdin’ off your help
Cuz Grandma don’t like the sound

Give the "Libby" What She Wants!
A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning. Duh!
B. Each player answers the questions about themselves, obviously.
C. At the end of the post, the player then tags people and posts their names (how else would they know they’ve been tagged), then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog (of course how else would they know what the freak being tagged means).
10 Years Ago: I was a dirty dishwasher at Andelin’s Gable house (I hadn’t made cook status yet). My dad just got a new truck, high school sucked, and my brother wasn’t around to bother me. Life was good (JK Lucas).
5 Things on my To-Do List today: Find out how much Libby was going to spend on her round brush. Figure out what to eat. Mail a phone to the person who bought it from me on eBay. Walk back to the house. Figure out what to get Sydney’s sister for her Birthday.
Snacks I enjoy: Pop corn and jerky (minus the pieces left in my teeth), Some sweets in moderation,
Things I would do if I were a billionaire: Let’s see, use 100 Million to start my own company, save a 100 million for retirement, Give a 100 Million to Sydney so she’d get the stuff she wanted, and because she didn’t save any of her billion. Use another 100 million to develop some land. I would take another 100 million to burn in front of the rest of you poor saps just to show you how rich I am. And the last 500 million I would use to carve my face in the side of the red hill for all to see.
3 of my bad habits: I work too hard, I care too much, and sometimes I can be too invested in my job. These are my greatest weaknesses.
5 places I have lived: On a motor cycle at the Sand dunes in California, on a four wheeler in the beaver mountains, on a raft in the Green River, on a house boat in Lake Powel and in Mexico with three college girls. If you haven’t done those, then you haven’t lived.
5 jobs I have had: Dishwasher, Cook, Junior Woodchuck (Plumber), Box maker, Pill Grinder.
5 things people don't know about me: I can’t hawk and spit because it makes me gag. My dad does all my welding. I like the smell of a coal burning stove. I didn’t think the land lord clip with Will Ferrell was funny. I write all my posts in Word then copy them to blogger.
okay! I did it! Now I tag: Kimtastic

10 years ago: I was ten years old. I was in fourth grade and I hated it. (Fourth grade was a bad year.)
5 things on my to-do list today: Go to class. Do my math homework. Clean the kitchen. Go to St. George with Logan. Prepare primary lesson.
Snacks I enjoy: I love all snacks. I especially love brownies, fruit snacks, Reeses, and pretty much anything that is very bad for me.
Things I would do if I were a billionare: Buy Logan his TV. Buy my mom a new house. Buy Logan and I a house. Take Logan back to Australia. Travel wherever I wanted to.
3 of my bad habits: BITING MY NAILS!!! I also tend to get too upset over little things. I am way too sensitive.
5 places I have lived: Flagstaff, AZ, My mom's in Elsinore, the C'Era apts., and our little cave at University West. (Only four, but that's it.)
5 jobs I have had: Munchies (cashier), KFC/Taco Bell (abused drive-thru employee), Vision Research (telephone surveyor), Wal-mart (fitting room attendent), Storytellers Club, Inc. (scrapbooking collater).
5 things people don't know about me: This is hard because I'm pretty much an open book, but I'll try. I used to be an English major. I have always wanted to write a novel about the crazy people in Elsinore (they really are crazy). I had big dreams of going to BYU. When I was little I had an obsession with my toes. I used to have a crush on CNN's Anderson Cooper.
Hmm... I tag Tanner and Jenny.

Logan Thoughts: I Married My Brother

As you can see there are glasses strewn about the house some in quite odd places.Another thing that I remember Mom complaining about Lucas was that he would leave his shoes “where everybody would step on them,” as Mom would say. Sydney does this as well, I don’t have any incriminating photos at the moment but rest assured at any given time there could be as many as three pairs of shoes in the front room. I would say all over the house but a front room is all we have.
Another thing that was brought to my attention today is that both Lucas and Sydney love that hideous Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream.

All in all I think that marrying Sydney was a good choice, I love her, and I’ve been raised to live with someone just like her my whole life.

Logan Thoughts: Bad Skin Anonymous
She made me do this not because I’ve been having pimples galore, but because my forehead has been really dry. I blame it on the cold Cedar air but she insisted I use this stuff. I don’t have hang ups about using the face wash or putting the moisture stuff on my face but I don’t really like the whole alcohol crap on the cotton ball that’s a bit girly for me. Nonetheless I’ve been using it to appease the wife and as much as it damages my masculinity, I think it’s working. So if any of you men out there are having skin issues the you can go metro-sexual just like I did and clear it up. - LoganPosted by Logan and Sydney at 2:11 PM 4 More things to read

Happy Valentine's Day!
I went to Robert’s Craft in need of a Valentine’s Day decoration. I found many adorable things, among which there were some blocks with XOXO on them. I didn’t really want to shell out $15 bucks on them, so I decided to think. My friend Kristie, who I work with, has a Cricut™ and offered to cut me some vinyl stickers for me. She only had a scrap of white vinyl and since it was a spur of the moment kind of thing, I didn’t run to Robert’s in the freezing cold to buy some. I ended up with some adorable 2” letters and a really cute skinny heart. So the next day I went to Robert’s craft and wandered around forever looking for blocks, thinking that they, as a craft store, would surely sell blocks. I finally asked a lady and she looked at me like I was completely stupid. As if I am the only person who wants blocks that I can paint a color of my choice! So, I wandered some more, looking for some inspiration. I was not giving up…I ended up giving up (for the moment at least) my vinyl letters. I purchased some cute little wooden letters (very cheap!) and a back board thing (also, much cheaper than I had anticipated). With a little paint, and the glue gun I got for Christmas, my craft came in with a grand total of about six bucks. Not exactly what I had in mind at the time, but I am pleased with myself, and it was a lot cheaper than $15. (I just realized that the background looks purple, and it's not. It is brown, not really the shade I was hoping for, but it's okay, at least I'm trying!)
