Les Miserables

For a Pre-Anniversary present Logan took me to Les Mis at Tuacahn.

Of course, he had to. Jessie gave us some vouchers back in July, so we got a sweet deal! (You can't beat FREE TICKETS!!!) We sat in the seventh row and it was incredible. I was familiar with the music (I was a choir geek in high school) but I had never seen the show. Logan wasn't too excited about going because apparently Anisa had the sound track when he was little and, I don't know the whole story, but he had already decided he didn't like it. He was disappointed that they sang the whole time, I was not. Those people are SO TALENTED!!! Besides being creative, that is the talent I most envy...to be able to sing like that.

When we got to our seats they were completely infested with wasps. If any of you know me very well, or at least when I was younger, I am deathly afraid of bees/wasps. I had to sit still while they crawled on my feet and tried to get up my pant leg. YIKES! Logan was so good to help me stay calm, and we actually didn't see anyone get stung, which is amazing considering the amount of the wasps.

We had a great time and I would just like to say THANK YOU JESSIE!!!! We all know Logan and that I would have never got to go without you!

New make-up

So I have been running on fumes, so to speak, in the make-up department for a while. It's been okay really since I rarely wear it to work because it will just sweat off in the extreme heat and humidity of a dry cleaner. Logan decided to take me to get some the other day though, I guess he didn't like the idea of me going to school without it. Afraid someone might find out I belong to him or something!

I usually wore the Soft Finish but it was seeming a little light so I wanted a new color. They didn't have one that matched very well so the lady told me about the Superbalanced Makeup. It's very cool. It absorbs oil where it needs to and moisturizes where my skin is dry. I got some mascara too. Such a sweet hubby!!!

Going to the Movies

Yesterday Logan treated me to a matinee at our neighborhood theater. This was not the usual couple outing, because we went to different movies Chet style (AKA alone).
Logan went to see Hancock.

I didnt want to see this because I am not a Will Smith fan, the only movie I liked him in was Hitch and that was pushing it.

I went to see Mama Mia.
I am a ABBA fan and I am a sucker for musicals. Plus, I used to work with a girl who saw it on Broadway and said it was fun. I loved it. It was pretty cheesey, but everyone needs a little cheesy once in a while! I am going to make Logan watch it on RedBox when it comes out. Logan liked his too, but he said it wasn't what he was expecting at all.
My sister thought it was weird that we went to different movies, but it made us both happy. I got to watch my chic flic without moans from my side and I didnt pester Logan by asking him what was going to happen next. It all worked out and I am assuming this was not the last time we will ever do this.

Okay, I just thought this was funny

Logan has been eating Vlassic Ovals since I have known him. It was a big step for him to switch over to the chips, but he thought it was time.

We bought him a massive jar of them when we went grocery shopping just now and as he was bringing them in (I was putting away) he was bragging about how this huge jar was under $3. The next thing I hear is "CRASH!!!

And that's when I started laughing my butt off. As we were cleaning them up I thought, "Those look yummy." And I ate one. I never would have thought that I would get in so much trouble for preventing waste. Logan was very mad at me and thought that I was stupid for eating one. It was on top of the pile so I didnt think anything of this, but Logan, being the smarter of us two, was worried about me eating glass.

El Pollo Loco

I know all I do is complain, but seriously I am just trying to pass along my mistakes and spare you from making them.

This place opened a while back pretty close to our house and I was interested in trying it out. Then this past week we got this thing in the mail about it and it had coupons and absolutely RAVED about how delicious the food was. So last night we went. I got the famous chicken and Logan got a burrito. The portions were miniature (mine were anyway, the burrito was pretty big) and it was not good at all. Logan said his burrito was all right, but I was just really disappointed in my food. Maybe I was expecting too much. The chicken was just chicken, the salsa was nasty, the rice was okay but my tortillas serioulsy reaked. I don't know why or of what they smelled but it almost made me sick. Just a heads up for all of you. If your curiosity gets the better of you then go check it out, but dont say I didnt warn you!

Last Great Achievement

The last great achievement of my camera was capturing Meghan in her under water habitat.

Vantage Point

Ok, so I just have to rant and rave (mostly ranting I suppose) about this movie. I dont say rave because there is nothing to rave about...it was stupid.
Logan got it on my free Wednesday night RedBox, which explains why it wasn't very good (all the good one's were gone).
This is an old story portrayed in a very irritating manner. Seriously, it went back to the beginning to tell the "vantage point" of each person involved, all EIGHT of them. Needless to say, by the third person I felt like I had been watching for hours. I don't want to give it away, but it's the usual. One man (who happens to be recovering from a traumatic bullet wound and subsequent nervous breakdown) does everything so heroically and does it all in the name of his job. Yeah, whatever, who does that?

Logan's Love

Logan has recently become obsessed with "Ranch Rush" on our computer. This is his "Ranch". If you look closely you will see "Logan" in the middle. That's right, it's little Rancher Sarah who runs this thing, and let me tell you, she is one tough chick!

24th of July Pictures

So this is a little late, but I finally did it. We went up to my Mom's for the 24th and had a really good time!

This is Maycee enjoying the parade wearing the beads she caught. It was weird. They were throwing Mardi Gras beads at the parade. Who does that?
This is Logan with my sister's cat, who is supposedly wild. Is Logan a "cat whisperer"? He played with this thing forever and it wouldn't leave him alone. Adorable, Logan's softer side in action. Logan and I standing in my sister's absolutely FREEZING pool.
Logan got in eventually, I , however, did not.
Logan humoring my nieces and nephews. Such a good uncle.
And this is where our camera broke. So there are no pictures of us on Monroe Peak on Justin's 4-wheeler (Thanks Justin) and no pictures of Logan kayaking the Sevier River, and none of us at the Piute Reservoir. Too bad.

Caution: Men at Work

Thought some of you might like to see what Logan has been up to.

He' s been drilling a lot lately. This is Logan and Matt with the Drill Rig.
I cant remember what they named it.

The Blake Men (and a Blake baby)

I was just looking through my pictures and thought I would pay a little tribute to the Blake men. They are lots of fun, very sweet and absolutely agonizing to live with (or so I have heard, mine isn't too bad!) but they are well worth the trouble!

The Memory Keeper's Daughter

SO...

I have a boring job so about every couple days I head to D.I. to find a book to keep me entertianed. I found this one.

I was immediately excited because this was made into a Lifetime movie that I never got to see becuase we moved here and lost our beloved cable about two days before the premiere. Very good book. Highly recommended.

New Computer

We got a new computer! Sydney said she hasn't seen me this happy sinse I got my XBOX 360 but what ever. We used our Stimulus check and some money that SUU gave me for my senior project. I was going to get it online from dell, but everytime I would build what I wanted it was tons so I went to best buy to see what they had. I found this one. It was cheaper than what I would have built and it is better. it has a better processor and more hard drive space than I was going to get so I like it. It doesn't have some of the things I wanted but I'll get them later when I need them like a better graphics card so I can put an other monitor on it (Sydney said one 22" is over kill but I beg to differ), another ROM drive and maybe Firewire or more USB ports, all of which were cheaper at Best Buy than on dell. I also was able to get the 2007 office professional suite and put it on there so that is good.
I know some of you will say, "Why did he put that expensive computer on that crappy desk?" well that's next on my list along with a new matress. - Logan

Sand Hollow

The fun just didn't stop, this morning we went to Sand Hollow Reservoir with Lucas and Shellie and Legz. It was pretty warm, but the wind kept blowing so we didn't stay long. It is such a beautiful reservoir and I love the red sand so much, just not when it's in my shoes, hair, board shorts, etc! Here is a picture of Logan and I having a BLAST in the water.

And also a silly underwater picture of Logan, which I love!
