Chubby Man

This is what Logan looks like when he gets home from the airport, as a matter of fact, this was taken merely seconds ago. No one would ever guess that under all of those chubby clothes, there was a skinny guy.

Weeweechu

It's a romantic full moon, when Pedro said, "Hey, mamacita, let's do Weeweechu." Oh no, not now, let's look at the moon!" said Rosita. Oh, c'mon baby, let's you and I do Weeweechu. I love you and it's the perfect time," Pedro begged. "But I wanna just hold your hand and watch the moon." replied Rosita. Please, corazoncito, just once, do Weeweechu with me." Rosita looked at Pedro and said, "OK, one time, we'll do Weeweechu." Pedro grabbed his guitar and they both sang..... "Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year." MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Sydney's Birthday

I decided to pay Sydney back for the embarrassing pictures she posted of me for my birthday

I woke her up at 8am and she opened her presents.

This is Sydney "posing with her spoils". She got socks, windshield wipers, 2 pairs of Silver jeans, a ring, and a wad of cash.
-Logan
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for my awesome presents. I felt so loved and just wanted to let everyone know how much I love them too! Thanks!

This is random

I was just listening to the Top 40 Country Countdown and doing laundry (yes, yes I am a sinner), and I heard a song I have never heard before and I had to sit down and laugh my butt off. It' may not be your style, but the frank and hilarious lyrics had me cracking up. Here's the link to the video http://www.cmt.com/videos/joey-rory/266100/cheater-cheater.jhtml

My Turn

So Logan took me to Twilight this afternoon, and thanks to you all, I really liked it. Everyone made me go into it expecting NOTHING, and thus, it was much better than expected. I was expecting worse effects, worse acting, worse everything. The only thing I didnt like was Jacob...it would help if he was really an indian, and didnt look like a girl, and had real hair, etc. I was also not too impressed with Jasper, but he grew on me a tiny bit. I just thought he was supposed to be hot. Anyway... This is the end of my ramblings.

Christmas at our house

We put up my Mom's Christmas tree and her outside decorations (by "we" I mean me and mom), and picked up our tree that my Aunt Verlin gave us. This is what Christmas prep looks like at our house.
Yeah, it's messy..
But you can't beat the finished product...MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Wal-Mart at 3:45

Logan didnt want to go shopping with me for "Black Friday" until he saw his Samsung Blu-Ray DVD player for a great price in the Wal-Mart ad, and then he became a crazy man.

This is us standing outside Wal-Mart at 3:45, we stood there in the cold til 5 and then I saw something I thought I would never see.

As soon as the doors opened Logan grabbed my hand and bolted through the people who had been standing in front of us and pushing and shoving his way in. I stuck with him for a while, but when he began to encounter shopping carts, the maneuvering became much more tricky and I was quickly cast aside. I seriously wish I would have thought to video this. He was running and jumping and dodging like I have never seen anyone do before. People who say women are crazy at these sales clearly have never witnessed a man on a quest for his Blu-Ray.

We were in and out in under 15 minutes. This is Logan, at approximately 5:30, back at my Mom's house posing with his spoils.

Happy Thanksgiving!

This year it was my family's turn to have us over for Thanksgiving dinner. I didn't end up taking a ton of pictures, but I think you will get the idea.

These are the pies my sister Katie made. She was really proud of the cherry one, so I thought I would take a picture and blog about it for her.

This is my Mom making her famous rolls with her not-so-secret family recipe. She never lets us take pictures of her, so I am blogging this monumental event.

Logan took his Xbox with him and that made him the most popular guy after dinner. Everyone loved trying their hand at Halo3, and everyone had a great time.

Thanksgiving was a total success, it was the first time in a long time that everyone was able to make it over for dinner. The sibs were late, but it all worked out just fine.

Christmas Music

I'm about to admit something huge here! There is Christmas Music on the Radio and I am SO GLAD THAT IT'S ON!! My mom totally burned me out on Christmas Music when I lived with her. She had these horrible CD's with corny santa pictures on the cover with bad renditions of all the Christmas classics, and all the ones we wish had never been written. Last year, working at Storytellers, I got so irritated with all the Christmas music the other collators would bring and insist on listening to, but this year, I am TOTALLY IN THE SPIRIT! I cant explain what has changed, but I have been so excited since Halloween that I have all my shopping done, I am humming Christmas songs all the time, and I can't wait to put up my tree (which would probably be up if it was not at my Mom's). I don't know what has changed, but this year I will be listening to FM100 all December long!

Airport Update

The Airport is coming along pretty good. here is a video I got with my phone of a blast last Tuesday.

Sydney's Mean

On Wednesday, Sydney called and got me and appointment with a Dermatologist to get some spots on my head looked at that are suspicious. This morning we went and the spot that Sydney was worrying about was nothing, he called it a wisdom wart. The spot that I have had forever, was pre-cancerous. He still burned them all off. He checked my back, and there was nothing there. Here are the pictures of my wounds.

The pre-cancer is is the big one by my eye. I can't believe that I am 27 and already getting crap burned off my face. Oh the long road ahead.

This is my life now...

Thanks to Lucas, Logan had to get Xbox live. It was fun for a little while, but Logan's work buddy Alec plays too and they have the exact same schedule, so every time they have a day off, yesterday and today and probably tomorrow, they play constantly. Logan was up at 7am yesterday playing it and went to bed at 11pm (That's so not Logan, for those of you who know he had a strict 10 o'clock bed time, which has recently been changed to 9 o'clock) Anyway, I got sick of listening him talk to Alec and the sounds of 9 foot Spartans getting gunned down somewhere on the Halo and decided to snap a photo and come blog about it.

There he sits, in his jammies (complete with the "handles curves superbly" shirt), surrounded by blankets, and fighting what appears to be the most important battle of his life.

Our Trip Up Yonder

This was what was really fun about heading up to Elsinore for Aunt Nette's funeral...chillin' with the family. This is the whole gang at our favorite hangout, Bullies. It wasnt as good as my high school memories remembered, but it was good to be back on familiar turf.

My New Pet

Right now it looks like this...

But soon, it will look like this...

I am really excited about my new "pet". It requires love and attention, I dont' have to clean out its tank/cage, and it doesn't poop. Looks like I have finally found a pet I can love.
