Atlanta, Idaho

We booked this vacation with Logan's cousins before I was even pregnant.  We were trying to talk them into a time that would assure we would have a baby that was at least 6 weeks old, and timed it right by the skin of our teeth.  Choice turned 7 weeks in Idaho.

This little town is in the middle on nowhere, the whole town is currently running on a diesel generator.  It was about an 11 hour drive, the last 2 1/2 being on a very scary mountain pass that was basically a 4 wheeler trail.  We had no idea what we were getting into, but it was a fantastic vacation.

We rented an 18 bedroom lodge on a 500 acre estate in the Sawtooth Mountains.  There was 4 wheeling galore, a hot springs fed swimming pool, 2 ponds, 2 hot springs and the Middle Fork of the Boise river to play in.  Plus lots of kids to play with, and lots of aunties to hold Choice so I could go to the hot springs, and even had a couple nights in the hot tub after the kids were asleep.

Shoshone Falls in Twin Falls, ID on the way there.

 Chattanooga Hot Springs
Logan and Chap kayaking on the pond.
Logan and Cash kayaking the Middle Fork of the Boise river.
Family picture in front of Greylock Mountain.  Such a pretty place, pictures don't do it justice.
Fishing in the lake.
 Choice chilling with mommy poolside.
Throwing kids in the pool.  4 or 5 kids ended up getting swimmers ear.  Thankfully none of them were mine.
 Watching daddy kayak the river.
 The lodge.
 Sink bath!
Eating an Idaho Spud to commemorate the trip:)
Merit riding Summer's unicorn.  Best investment ever.  That thing withstood some serious abuse and still survived.
